CUDA SJ-15 TOP LOAD INDUSTRIAL PARTS WASHER
The Cuda top load line-up, the SJ-15 uses a patented spray wash technology which
eliminates the need for a drive motor, gears and pulleys. Using a water-propelled spray
arm with 23 nozzles that spin around a stationary parts basket, parts are hit from every
angle while being cleaned. The Cuda SJ-15 Series parts has a 350-lb. load capacity,
and a basket dimension of 32” x 21”. 90 gallon sump capacity, 3 HP pump motor
delivering 37 GPM @ 30 PSI.
- Cabinet
Cabinet and lid shall be constructed of 12 gauge steel, finished with a powder coat paint for long life and easy cleaning. Parts basket to be constructed of 12 gauge steel and can easily be removed from cabinet. Steel chip tray located below parts basket to prevent small parts from falling into the tank. Lid will have interlocking mechanical seal, with safety shut-off and lid lock mechanism. Lid shall have gas struts for minimal effort in opening and closing lid. Machine will have automatic oil skimmer to remove excess oils from sump tank, thus lengthening the effectiveness of wash solution. Machine will have accommodations to allow for the following options:

Rotating spray arm must be water driven. Rotation of arm will provide complete spray coverage of parts being washed. Twenty-three (23) spray nozzles will belocated on the rotating spray arm providing over lapping coverage of parts being washed.
- Controls
Electrical control panel shall have 7 day programmable heater timer, 60 minute wash timer, power indicating light and low water shutdown indicator lights. Machine will include a sealed safety stop switch. An adjustable thermostat will control water temperature. A safety control switch will not allow pump or heater to operate if water level drops below a prescribed set point.
- Pump
Pump will be centrifugal 3 hp vertical sealless, with 50 GPM (189 lpm) output at 45 PSI (3.10 bar) capable of handling 175°F (79°C) water with cleaning detergents. Pump motor must have safety overload protection.
- Heater
Machine to have a 6000 Watt, 208V, 230V, 460V, 575V, screw plug immersion heating element. Heating element is to be constructed with an incoloy sheath for maximum corrosion and oxidation protection.
